What is Eudemonia? A Look Inside The Wellness Summit
You know that post-vacation slog that makes regular life even harder after you get home from a trip? When you go from sleeping well, eating well, staying active with swims and activities, unwinding with friends and family, and (most importantly) not working, sometimes those first few days back to real life make you wish you never took the vacation in the first place.
But what if you could enter a total wellness paradise for a few days, and actually come out more equipped to take on real life afterwards? We’re talking morning jogs, yoga classes, nourishing meals, time spent in the sun and sand, but also expert-led classes and lectures — pretty much everything you need to not only feel refreshed, but to also learn the science and best practices of wellness and take that information home to your everyday life.
“What if you could enter a total wellness paradise for a few days, and actually come out more equipped to take on real life afterwards?”
That’s why the Good Trade team is so excited to be attending and partnering with a new wellness summit that’s exactly that — a weekend-long gathering with wellness activities, events, classes, and exhibits called Eudemonia, coming to West Palm Beach in Florida from November 1–3, 2024.
What is Eudemonia?
Eudemonia means “human flourishing” or “wellbeing,” and was considered the highest human good in ancient Greece. At this three-day event, the idea is to experience the wellness concepts you’re learning about. From sunrise meditations to cold plunges and hyperbaric chambers, you’ll take part in it all — learning about how to optimize your health, and then doing those things to bring you closer to eudaemonia.
“The idea is to experience the wellness concepts you’re learning about. From sunrise meditations to cold plunges and hyperbaric chambers, you’ll take part in it all.”
Set to become one of the world’s largest wellness gatherings, Eudemonia will encompass all of the Hilton West Palm Beach and the Palm Beach County Convention Center (PBCCC) — both of which are walking distance to downtown West Palm Beach, a world-class vacation destination in its own right.
The Hilton West Palm Beach couldn’t be a better epicenter for the event, between its gorgeous outdoor pool with cabanas, onsite dining and drinks, and freshly updated accommodations with city views. Anyone who purchases a badge to Eudemonia can reserve a room at the Hilton for $289 a night — or at any of the other nice hotels within walking distance of the summit.
The summit runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, and each guest can schedule two morning activities and three afternoon talks per day. Lunch is included, too. The days are completely what guests make it, but a sample day might look something like this: yoga at 8:00 a.m., breathwork at 10:00 a.m., and a poolside lunch at noon, then a workshop at 1:00 p.m., a lecture at 2:30 p.m., and the day’s keynote speaker at 4:00 p.m.
In total, Eudemonia features six treatment areas, seven movement and practice spaces, and 12 speaker venues — all geared towards bringing you the latest treatments and healing modalities.
Who’s speaking at Eudemonia?
And speaking of speakers, some major names in wellness are making an appearance. Headlining speakers include Dr. Andrew Huberman, a celebrity in the wellness space for his wildly popular “Huberman Lab” podcast (he’s also a tenured professor at Stanford), and Dr. Mark Hyman, a physician and functional medicine pioneer known for his books like “The Pegan Diet” and “Food Fix.”
“All of the speakers will be sharing their perspectives on how to improve health, prevent disease, and achieve wellbeing based on science-backed research.”
And the impressive headliners don’t stop there: Jillian Michaels is a health and wellness coach known for her role on “The Biggest Loser,” and Adriene Mishler is the practitioner behind the YouTube channel “Yoga with Adriene.” Sara Gottfried is a doctor and hormonal health expert with bestselling books about trauma, hormones, and health, and Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee is an oncologist whose 2011 book “The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer” won a Pulitzer Prize.
All of the speakers will be sharing their perspectives on how to improve health, prevent disease, and achieve wellbeing based on science-backed research. They’ll touch on movement, nourishment, mental optimization, restoration, and connection — each from their own POV.
What is Eudemonia’s exposition, Exposome?
Between treatments, fitness classes, and speakers, the summit has no shortage of things to do — but they’re hosting a wellness expo, too, where top wellness brands will exhibit. Think brands specializing in personalized medicine, wellness technology, functional food, supplementation, and more. The expo, called Exposome, features over 100 brands, hosting product demos, exclusive offers, and hands-on experiences for guests to learn about some of the most cutting-edge technologies in wellness right now.

Included in Exposome is Basecamp, an on-site hub for free biometric tests for all attendees — guests can find out their glucose levels, blood pressure, and so much more, and experts are there to help decode the results.
There is also a library and bookstore called the Bibliotech, where guests can stock up on resources. So many of the weekend’s expert speakers have published books — and since you can only learn so much from a 30-minute talk, Exposome’s Bibliotech gives attendees a chance to dig in deeper, and even get a book or two signed. And while entry to Exposome is included with a badge to Eudemonia, it’s open to the public, too, for $59 per day or $109 for a 3-day pass.
A few more Eudemonia details
Finally, a few more logistics — Eudemonia’s badges come in three different tiers. The first tier goes for $1,499 per person and grants guests access to all sessions, from fitness classes to lectures, along with treatments at the onsite spa Thermae, access to Exposome, a complimentary gift tote, and free shuttles to and from downtown Palm Beach. The second tier is $1,899 per person and includes all that plus early access to the scheduling tool so you can book your favorite sessions before they fill up, an invitation to Thursday’s pre-event cocktail pool party, and a one-year membership to Function Health ($499 value), which provides a comprehensive screening, tracking, and analysis of over 100 biomarkers.
“The first of its kind, Eudemonia aims to empower guests with tools to optimize their health and improve both individual and collective wellbeing, looking at wellness from every possible angle.”
The top tier goes for $4,549 per person and also includes concierge service by Eudemonia staff, a meet-and-greet with headliners like Dr. Huberman and Dr. Hyman, an exclusive dinner with Eudemonia talent and organizers, and a $300 credit. All prices go up on September 3.
The first of its kind, Eudemonia aims to empower guests with tools to optimize their health and improve both individual and collective wellbeing, looking at wellness from every possible angle. You’ll probably find an angle (or several) you haven’t considered yet, and you’ll get a refreshing wellness retreat at the same time. If you’re curious about the latest research on wellness, and trying these modalities out for yourself, then we hope to see you there.
