We’ve researched and written on wellness and self-care for years — these are the festivals and retreats we’re counting on to rejuvenate us in 2024.

When it comes to taking some much-needed time off, we’re all about bang for your buck. Sure, it’s absolutely wonderful to spend a week relaxing by a beach. But sometimes, it’s even better to spend your time away actively resetting and even learning some tools you can take back to real life, too.

That’s why we’ve been so interested in learning about wellness retreats and festivals lately. Focusing on wellness can be great — but spending several days immersed in wellness practices is even better. Think daily massages or yoga, plus three plant-based meals and luxurious amenities, too.

Below, you’ll find some of the top wellness retreats happening around the world in 2024. Some are in the states, and some offer you the chance to travel to stunning international spots like Spain or Thailand. All are helmed by wellness professionals, whether they’re Ayurvedic medicine practitioners, yoga teachers, or healthcare professionals.

The below properties range dramatically in price, location, and specialty. Read on for more details about our top picks in wellness retreats around the world.
